Lighthouse Community Church
Formerly: North Kenai Baptist Church
and North Road Baptist Mission

First service was held Feb. 3, 1985
in the home of Joe and Janie Tieskie (the Tieskies moved out of state in Aug. 96).

First pastor/church planter
Ben and Evelyn Sheeran arrived on the field June 1, 1985. During their pastorate 3 acres of land where purchased and the original building was completed in Oct. 1986.
They served from Jun. 1985 - Nov. 1986

Second pastor was called Feb. 1987
Bill and Elizabeth Branch, served through Sep. 1996. During this time used pews were purchased, church constituted Feb. 4, 1990 and building debt was cut almost in half.

Third pastor was called Dec. 20, 1996
